About Safe Support

A safe, warm and empowering home

Safe Support Ventures operates residential children's homes that provide safe, supportive and structured environments for children. Our mission is to be a leader in providing care — delivering tailored and adaptable support to those dealing with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Our journey from passionate support workers to care providers began in 2017, when we started out offering semi-independent placements for looked-after children and care leavers aged 16–24. At our peak we managed 33 placements across London, from Harrow, North West London down to Croydon in the south.

Our placements varied in type — from 24-hour staffed placements for children, to shared semi-independent placements for care leavers, to solo standalone placements with outreach support and regular staff supervision for older, more independent teenagers.

As an organisation, we decided to pivot. We felt that with our skills, resources and team we could make a greater impact by focusing on children's early development — so we set out to transition our existing service into Ofsted-regulated children's homes. Since then we have grown steadily into the established provider we are today, bringing stability, consistency and experience to every placement.

We are committed to providing a safe, warm, nurturing and empowering environment where children can thrive, develop, and prepare confidently for their transition toward independence.

Our approach is trauma-informed. We recognise the experiences and triggers that shape how children feel and behave, and we build our care around steady relationships, clear routines and consistent boundaries rather than sanctions or punishment. Through Positive Behaviour Support, we help each child develop emotional resilience, a positive sense of identity, and the everyday skills that build independence — always with their dignity, rights, and voice at the centre of their care.
